PERSONALITY & HISTORY
First impressions of Claire are generally spot-on; she hasn't grown into the idea that censoring herself might be a better idea than letting everything fly. She's always been something of a loner, and after being essentially abandoned by both parents and living on her own for the last several years, Claire hardly lets anybody close, usually by a prickly attitude and mild rudeness. Her most visible range of emotion is on a spectrum from cheeky to angry, with dry sarcasm and eye-rolling being the mid-mark.
Deeper under the surface, Claire has issues and insecurities typical of a teenage girl who spent her adolescence bouncing around group homes, most notably attachment and abandonment problems. She relates easier to people her age more than older adults, though she is more likely to trust and attach herself to the latter, especially if any concern they show for her is proven genuine. She has a tendency to act (and speak) on impulse; she is more wired to learn from her own consequences than take advice, which she hates, especially if it's unsolicited. She is defensive, abrasive, and crass in compensation for past trauma, loneliness, and feelings of failure.
Positive traits: Brave, persevering, strong-willed, loyal (to those who earn her trust), stands up for the little guy.
Negative traits: Stubborn, hot-headed, morally-gray, short-term thinker, impulsive, generally distrusting
Besides having the genes necessary to house an angel without disintegrating, Claire is a fairly typical human teenager. She's a scrapper, having spent the last few years bouncing around foster homes and on the street; she knows how to fight dirty enough to get herself away from a bigger threat, if needed. Claire has proven herself to have a knack for good aim and hand-eye coordination, whether it be in billiards, miniature golf, or shooting a gun. She can also maintain that gun, thanks to Dean's brief instruction.
Dufflebag: Three pairs of underwear, two extra shirts, one pair sleeper pants, pay-by-month cell phone, $73.21 American, (stolen) iPad and charger, Grumpy Cat plush, Tamiel's angel sword, Remmington six-chamber revolver (and rounds), Dean's book of Enochian symbols and lore
